The SEP-96-BK is a 1 1/16 in (28 mm) external diameter galvanized steel pipe with electric conductivity (ESD) coated with black colored polyethylene. Its 1/16 (2 mm) steel thickness allows to build stronger structure than 1/16 (1.1 mm) in thickness pipes.
To minimize shipping costs and maximize maneuverability, most of the pipes are 8 feet (2438 mm) long.
It is recommended to consult the page How to calculate the loading capacity before designing your structures.
All the P-96 pipes of the Flexpipe system are compatible with most other 28 mm systems on the market. This allows any surplus left by your previous systems to be used.
Please note that 2 mm pipes are intended to be used for heavy-duty type environments and are not compatible with stem casters and AF-ILEV. Therefore, we recommend using plate casters in general - W-4PSB, W-4PF and W-6PSB.
