R40-SLOW is an ESD stainless steel rail decelerator. This item is oftenly used on long conveyors or conveyors with steep slopes to slow down containers. This rail accessory will work best with plastic bins and cardboard boxes.
R40-SLOW will cover four wheels on the R40-RT96. It is suggested to test what could be the optimal position of this accessory by putting it at different places on the conveyor rail.
We highly recommend designing your flow racks without this item by adjusting the slope according to the weight of the containers and the length of the flow rack. However, the R40-SLOW will definitely be useful if the containers you are using are full of heavy parts.
All Flexpipe conveyor R40 accessories are engineered to perfectly fit the R40-RT96. The Flexpipe roller track and its accessories will work on any 28mm pipe and joint systems. Some systems don't have the same conveyor size, so be sure to check the spec sheet to see if your old conveyor parts are compatible.

- Ensure you have the following parts:
- 1x R40-SLOW
- 1x R40-RT96
- Select the location on the rail conveyor where you want to slow down the slide. Note that the R40-SLOW will cover 3 wheels of the conveyor rail.
- Press the R40-SLOW on the R40-RT96 conveyor wheels until it is securely fixed.
