The AS-GC15 is a gas spring designed to assist with the opening, closing, and positioning of hinged frames, lids, or work surfaces. It provides 15 kg of lifting force, helping reduce the effort required to move the structure while keeping the motion controlled and stable.

To install the AS-GC15, secure each end of the gas spring to the appropriate mounting brackets on the fixed and moving sections of the structure. Make sure the mounting points allow the gas spring to extend and compress freely throughout the full range of motion.

Assembly tip:

Install the AS-GC15 with the cylinder body positioned above the piston rod when the structure is in its resting position. Temporarily position the mounting brackets before final tightening to confirm that the gas spring provides the desired opening angle and does not reach the end of its stroke prematurely.

Technical note:

The AS-GC15 provides 15 kg of lifting force. Make sure the selected gas spring is appropriate for the weight, dimensions, and pivot point of the moving structure. Avoid bending, modifying, puncturing, or applying lateral force to the gas spring, as it contains pressurized gas and must remain properly aligned during operation.
