The HJ-13 is a metal joint used to reinforce the structural capacity of two pipes. This connector connects two pipes together and increases the structural capability of the pipe that supports a charge by more than 68%. At Flexpipe, this is often used in the assembly of tables and workstations. This reinforcement technique is recommended if you want to place considerable weight on a large working surface. This joint is also used for general reinforcement purposes.

To make an HJ-13, you need to assemble two H-13 with one M6-25B bolt and one M6-N nut. You can duplicate the effect of this connector by connecting multiple pipes in a series. If you plan to use this joint to increase the structural capacity of your structure, we recommend that you first check out the technical information for the Flexpipe system and our design tutorial in the learning section.

Since the HJ-13 is so important in the conception of heavy duty structures, there is an antistatic version available called HJ-13NP. Be sure to select this option if you plan to build Flexpipe structures for heavy electronics and electrical components.

1 M6-25B
1 M6-N
2 28mm pipes of your choice
1 Allen key or one drill equipped wioth an Allen key with 5 mm tip
2- Take two connectors H-13 and group them around the pipes P1 and P2.
3-Take a M6-25B bolt and a M6-N nut and insert them into the corresponding openings. Make sure to put the bolt on the more accessible side.
4- Tighten completely the M6-25B bolt and M6-N nut together until the HJ- 13 attached firmly to both pipes . A force of 9.8 Nm is recommended for this step.
