Technical Information

The AS-STOPPER is a zinc-plated steel retaining mechanism designed to prevent containers or product from rolling back out of a flow rack. Once the container has moved completely past the stopper, the retaining plate automatically returns to its raised position by gravity and prevents the container from moving backward.

To install the AS-STOPPER, secure the mechanism to the flow rack and position the pivoting plate so that the container can push it down while entering. Make sure the plate can return freely to its raised position once the container has passed.

The AS-STOPPER is commonly used with the AS-SHOOTER to create a controlled loading and release system. The AS-STOPPER prevents the container from backing out, while the AS-SHOOTER retains and releases the contents at the opposite end of the flow rack.

Assembly tip:

Before completing the final tightening, test the AS-STOPPER with the intended container. Make sure the container can fully depress the pivoting plate during loading and that the plate returns to its retaining position without interference.

Technical note:

The AS-STOPPER operates by gravity, so it must be installed in the correct orientation and remain free of obstructions. Make sure the pivot moves freely and that the stopper fully returns to its raised position after each container enters the flow rack.
