The HJ-2 is a metal connector set that lets you create a three-pipe intersection or corner. This connector is quick to assemble with an inner and outer part. The connector is the second most used joint system after the HJ-1.

To create an HJ-2, you need to combine one H-2 and one H-3 with two M6-25B bolts and two M6-N nuts. Because this connector is used very frequently, you should keep the parts necessary to make an HJ-2 nearby. This joint will probably be used for most of your structure’s external corners. The HJ-2 is also the connector of choice when making structural separations on two perpendicular sides. Other applications of the HJ-2 include the creation of more complex and ergonomic handles, the creation of V shape racking support or a V-shape roof, and it is often association with the AI-CORNER accessory when positioning a surface on external sides.

This connector can be installed easily with the possibility of connecting the H-3 on a pipe without any other parts. This will help you finish the installation of the HJ-2 with ease. The HJ-2 features ten grabbing striations and eight screw holes, making it one of the strongest connectors and a favorite for heavy-duty structures.

The HJ-2 is compatible with most 28mm pipe and joint systems. This will give you the freedom to use inner or outer parts of other systems with the HJ-2 parts and complete with Flexpipe parts. You can select the HJ-2 ESD version called HJ-2NP for all your antistatic needs. This version is plated with nickel for its antistatic proprieties. The HJ-2NP can also be used for aesthetic purposes.

1- Make sure you have the following parts:
1 H-2
1 H-3
2 M6-25B
2 M6-N
3 28mm pipes of your choice
1 Allen key or one drill equipped with an Allen Key 5mm tip
2- Take a connector H-3 and fix it in the desired location on the P1 pipe.
3- Take a connector H-2 and position it to form the inner corner of the HJ- 2.
4-Take two M6-25B bolts and two M6-N nuts and insert them into the corresponding openings. Make sure to put the bolts on the more accessible side.
5- Tighten the M6-25B bolts and nuts M6-N together a few threads , but no more.
6- Insert the P2 and P3 pipes within the HJ-2 between the first and second guides as shown in the plan .
7- Tighten completely the M6-25B bolts and M6-N nuts together until the HJ-2 attached firmly to the three pipes . A force of 9.8 Nm is recommended for this step.
