The HJ-17 is a black metal joint set that allows you to create a two-pipe intersection with a 45-degree non-adjustable angle. This joint set is used for reinforcing structures. Unlike the HJ-6 / HJ-6A / HJ-14, the HJ-17 has nos adjustable angle. This feature makes it particularly useful for individual reinforcement situations.
To assemble an HJ-17 you need to combine an H-17 and an H-18 together with one M6-25B bolt and one M6-N nut.
Assembly tip:
This joint set is composed of only a few parts, which makes its installation very fast. In addition, this feature helps strengthen the structure, and even helps it to increase the load capacity. Technical Informations:
This joint set is designed with 8 striations for a better grip on the plastic coating of the 28 mm pipes. It also includes 4 additional pre-drilled reinforcement holes to ensure extra strength to your structure. By adding a self-drilling screw F-A85/8, you will solidify the connector joints positioned on a corner where there is a higher risk of impact.

2 28mm pipes of your choice
1 Allen key or one drill equipped with an Allen Key 5mm tip
2-Take a connector H-17 and a connector H-18 and group them around the P1 pipe. 3-Take a M6-25B bolt and a M6-N nut and insert them into the corresponding openings. Make sure to put the bolt on the more accessible side.
4. Tighten the M6-25B bolt and nut M6-N together a few threads , but no more.
5- Insert the P2 pipe within the HJ-17 between the first and second guides as shown in the plan .
6. Tighten completely the M6-25B bolt and M6-N nut together until the HJ-17 attached firmly to the two pipes . A force of 9.8 Nm is recommended for this step.
